Forgive the parody but I couldn’t help thinking as I looked out of my study this morning and saw the church goers scampering along to the local church that’s on our road just how unexcited they all looked. There was a sombre dutifulness about them. It reminded me of the Seven Dwarfs song: “I owe, I owe, its off to church I go”. Aren’t you glad you’ve been saved from the religious life? What a dramatic difference it makes when you realise that church is not something you go to, its someone you are. So “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” – or if you prefer Snow White.
Perhaps it’s time for you to discover the real thing! Why not join us on Sunday mornings at 10.30am…?
