On Sunday 11th November 2012, IGC is pleased to welcome Linbert Spencer O.B.E. as a special guest speaker. He will be speaking on the subject of building a multi-ethnic church.
Many churches in Britain have people from different ethnic backgrounds in the congregation and feel this makes them a “multi-ethnic” church. But often there is a failure to understand the difference between allowing people to participate in the church, and actively seeking the participation of those who are not already doing so. People become complacent about the way things are, and do not realise how wonderful they might become.
